HOW TO READ THE CHART

One bar is not a home reading.

Each black bar shows the published maximum from randomly selected consumers’ premises in the district during 1/1/2025 to 31/12/2025. The scale compares that published maximum with the relevant Hong Kong Drinking Water Standard.

It does not describe every building, flat or shower. Local plumbing, fittings and a shower connection are part of the final route that this report cannot test.

Official programme boundary. WSD’s Enhanced Water Quality Monitoring Programme samples randomly selected premises and applies a two-tier protocol for metals. A published Tier 1 maximum above a standard is not, on its own, a finding of non-compliance; WSD assesses the associated Tier 2 sample where required. Read the district PDF for the exact method and explanatory notes.

THE FINAL WATER PATH

District figures are the beginning.

Before water reaches your shower, it travels through a specific building’s plumbing, fittings, shower connection and spray plate. Pureis Phase 1 is designed for that final water path, with two internal cartridges and one Complete Filter Set replacement rhythm.

WSD reports compliance in all randomly selected premises under its testing protocol.
